Hey, guys!
It's been a while since my last post, and I just wanted to give a few quick updates on my writing.
First off, I finished the manuscript of my third novel! It is called Shattered Among the Stars and is something of a new adult literary romance. The story is heavy on themes of music and emotion and heartbreak and belonging, and it clocks in at around 120,000 words long. This novel has been in the works for a while now, the idea going back years, and I still can't believe that it finally is actually written.
Another piece of exciting news: my flash fiction piece "The Frozen Grave" was accepted for publication by a magazine and will be out soon, likely this month! More details on that will come soon.
I have two new projects that I am working on now. One is a screenplay that takes place in Victorian London, following the journey of a medical scientist. The other is a collection of poems and essays about my time in Oxford last semester. Both are very different from each other, but I am enjoying the shift in form and genre.
Lots of exciting things are happening, and I will give more updates and I have them. For now, as I finish up my last semester of my bachelor's and work toward graduation, I work on personal projects when I can. After my diploma, I plan to spend the summer deep in revisions, and the goal is to have my debut novel ready to send out to publishers and agents by the end of the year. So that's something to look forward to!
I've been keeping very busy with school and haven't had much time to post, but I will have a longer post coming out soon, so be on the lookout for that!
